    6360 connected to LAN via PPP, can't access AFP drives

    My Performa 6360 runs System 7.5.5 and is connected by a null modem serial cable to "melissa", which runs Linux Mint 18.2 and acts as an FTP, a PPP, and an AFP server.  melissa is connected to my LAN via Ethernet, and the 6360 is connected by PPP through melissa.  I also have a Power Mac 7200/75...

    File Transfer over Serial?

    I have a Performa 6360 with ClarisWorks 4 on it, and I have a PC with Windows 98 and PuTTY on it. How do I connect them so that I can transfer files between them? I've looked online, but no connection I've found there works.

    AppleCD 8x from my 6360 not working

    It receives power just fine; the tray opens and closes correctly. The AppleCD 600i out of my 7200 works fine with my 6360 with the card-edge adapter, so that's not the problem either. But when I insert a CD, nothing happens. It doesn't appear on the desktop, and the CD drive doesn't spin up.

    Macintosh Garden appears to be down

    I wanted to download CodeWarrior, so I went to Macintosh Garden, but I'm left with a "Problem loading page". When I ping it, it doesn't respond.

    SCSI Zip drive cable

    I have a SCSI Zip 250 drive, but unfortunately, I have no cable for it. Where might I find a replacement? Will any DB-25 male-to-male cable do? If not, why not?
