    Powermac G4 MDD Drive Issue

    After coming back to my Powermac G4 MDD now that I've got time, I've noticed that the os, in this case OS 9 doesn't seem to recognize either of the two disc drives, I know they still get power after testing the hidden eject button, but other than that there's basically nothing from the system...

    Finally got my mac se upgraded a whopping 4MB of ram! but...

    I decided to take the drive assembly out of the case, and when I put it all back together, it seems i mounted it a bit odd, cause now the floppy drive is offset a little too high for the slot to easily clear it, meaning my system 7 tune up is currently stuck in my mac, besides the slight humor...

    Power mac g5 boots up to desktop then screen goes completely black

    just like the title said, previously I was able to use the desktop environment for a little bit before everything on the screen goes black, before the entire system freezes, any clue why this happened? the Power Mac is a 2004 dual G5 1.8 GHZ pci-x model with ~5.5 gigs of ram.

    I got a working Macintosh FDHD with system 6.0.8 already loaded onto it, being new to all of this, I was wondering how I would go about getting files onto it, or even possibility of getting files off of it, for reference I currently have a modern windows computer and intel mac with os X on it...
