Hi, can’t find how many Apple IIe were made in total, one source says an average figure of 800 000 units. But the IIe was made from 1983 to 1993, and the Plus is close to 400 000 units (in 4 years only) so probably the IIe should have higher numbers. Anyone knows ?

i was thinking using two binaries in a 27C512 eprom and swapping from one or another for a Standard Rom or the newer 4X. Anyone has done that already ? I think using a switch on pin 27 (A 14) to get it working (probably even using the standard logic board bridges to do so)

I have a strange issue with a 800k drive, the ejecting motor is spinning all the time. tried with several motors, the plastic gear is new. So the issue is on the board, somewhere... the connector is receiving 2 x 12 volts and 1 x ground and the switch is working ok. Any clue ??
