i was thinking using two binaries in a 27C512 eprom and swapping from one or another for a Standard Rom or the newer 4X. Anyone has done that already ? I think using a switch on pin 27 (A 14) to get it working (probably even using the standard logic board bridges to do so)

For those Roms in the LC, they are pretty common indeed, the very first batch was sold with those "Confidential" tags on it, should have two LCs with them, just an early model, nothing more.
