This is technically the first mac in my family since like, the 1990's. Dad really hates them and so all ive used has been windows and never anything this old. My uncle had a powerbook. I think it was the one with the emulation layer so it could have compatibility with older mac stuff and he...
Don't worry about the voltage being 7.46 it's actually on the dot 7.5v. This is the video with the bluescsi installed. The amps are also on point. Also, all of the background noise is just mama making lunch. Mmmmm! :)
I also fixed the Bluescsi problem, I know I am doing the bluescsi correctly. I read on github someone had this problem and it was a broken trace and I was able to get a log file from the pico. But when everything was initialized it just said bus:busy and bus:free.
By the external power bridger I mean the bridge for the external power for the bluescsi.
Unfortunantly, I don't have any floppy boot disks...
I have taken a whole lot out of the equation. I took the bluescsi off. I took the floppy drive off and the speaker, although I know it does chime. I...
Hey everyone! I was able to get some sad mac codes by I think pressing the interrupt button, (It could have been the reset button) Could you tell me what they are? I think the one with the flag code 0300 major code 1303 and minor code 0007ffba means the ram is broken, but I am not curtain. Does...
Here is my latest log.txt remove the .zips and those are my files i am using. I found that the latest bluescsi pico update doesn't log or flash lights so I downgraded, The .ini is my homemade ini trying to get the portable to boot.
Alright! If you have a portable you'll want to replace them one of them was fine the other had the tell tale electrolytic burning sound.
Caps And Values - 16v 10uF Radial 4mmx8mm
and 50v 1uF Radial 4mmx6mm
There's your values @3lectr1cPPC
I'm glad I was able to get the portable working, And I...
Can someone tell me what's wrong? I insert my Sd card that has the ini file and hda file into the bluescsi and I plug the bluescsi into the portable but the power light only turns on when the external power bridger is in place and the act light never lights up. Also there is no log file on the...
It works, 4 bodge wires (one on the hybrid pins and 3 on the caps), a couple of trace soldering and viola! It fired right up with a new hybrid module and caps with a new usb-c power supply I made and a battery eliminator... It showed that there was no hard drive connected with only like 6 pixels...
Welp, all of my stuff for the computer showed up. Thankfully Joes computer museum was kind enough to add a hybrid module after I had ordered. But Its all here, The battery eliminator and the bluescsi with the hybrid module. Just finished soldering them together. Now, just waiting for caps to...
I found out that the dip switches are for rom association. Thanks to this site, It hasn't been updated for 10 years so I downloaded it with httrack!

Alright! Thanks! I found JMC's video and he had the list for the floppy drive, And I found that to have an external scsi, you need a diode from 5v to one of the pins, TheTechKnight explains that but I found that out because of JMC. Is that correct?
