Hello,
does anyone know if there is a modern replacement for the PowerBook 1xx series trackball?? I am also lost in my searches for a SCSI cable for the internals. Do you know where you could get one or if there is a replacement? Or is it very proprietary? Thanks!

I have one to add for the portable! I didn't make it so don't give me any of the credit, but here! It's for the Portable backlit addition!

Question for those who will use it in the upcoming (however long it is) future!
Would you like a usb-c on the final design for updating the code on the rp235xA, or a micro usb-b? The micro usb-b is a LOT cheaper to implement (or so I've found...)
But I am asking for your user serviceability...
Alright, An update is due... Good news! The PCB's showed up and I was able to solder most of the components on...
Bad news, the aliexpress order hasn't shown up yet and I tore the pads for the FPC connector on the board was working on, I noticed it after I had put all the other components on :(...
Alright, all of the mouser part's showed up, but I'm still waiting for the PCB and the aliexpress stuff...
@campbellashe has taken the first open spot for testing!
I was able to log in. I was also able to edit the start page. (I did edit it, but just to test that I was able to edit. I set it back to normal.) You should be able to see the old revisions log and see that.
Like, taking power from the motherboard connector. Or somewhere else on the power supply. That's what I mean. Sorry if I wasn't clear...
Also have you measured how much amps you are getting? That would also be a factor to consider!
Have you tapped right off of main power from the power supply? like the 5v rail going into the motherboard? Or used a external power supply? Have you already tried? Not meaning to say retrace, just double check.
