Nope i have my own unrelated 500 series hard drives that I've never been able to find a way to copy data off of. I tried scsi adapters but they didn't work. In fact I was thinking about using this machine for that purpose.

I have plenty of modern Macs running up to date OS X. The purpose of this old Mac is to run as many old versions of Mac OS as I can. 

I recently got 256 MB of RAM for my old Mac, in the form of four 64 MB chips. The RAM I already had in there was in the form of two 16 MB chips and one 32 MB.  So I have two options. I can put 288 MB of interleaved RAM in this machine... or I can put 320 MB of non-interleaved RAM in there. ...

I do believe I have 8 ports. What exactly are you searching for to find this old RAM? It doesn't seem to have any unique specs or 'name'. Can you find any 128 MB chips on ebay? If not, I'll grab some of these 64's. 

I remember you used to be able to do a trick like this to get a 13" 1440x900 ibm panel (matte too I think) installed in the polycarbonate MacBooks. Pretty neat trick that I never got around to. But as for your question, I don't actually know anything about it, sorry.

Hah just realized I was getting you mixed up with the guy that actually suggested Netscape 2. I wish I knew how he was able to import ccmail with netscape 2 :D .  As for lotus notes, was there a classic Mac version? 

I stand corrected, there IS an email client in Netscape 2! I see it and I can open it, but I haven't been able to find any import functions. Any ideas on that? 

I don't mean to be a pain, but... Netscape added a browser, I assume you mean Netscape added an email client TO the browser. But I don't think they did that until version 4. And I tested version 4, it has no way to import mail that I could see. Also None of the IE4.5 installers I've seen...
