What about some of the other resources that we see mentioned in the Python script, like the "STR#" ones so that certain text strings display what they should? Or are strings etc. all displaying the correct stuff by leaving them only on the System file?
Also did anyone test System 7.5.3 at all...
For those without or avoiding OS X, is there a way to, say, save this to a text file as Forth script, give it a Forth-related TYPE code, put the file in the root of, say, a Mac OS 9 partition, then from OF invoke the file/script?
My mini boots 8.1 normally off an HFS+ partition. I did it over FireWire, but I'd expect it to be the same via the internal drive, as well. I just re-tested this to be sure.
It would be weird if it didn't! I assume something must have been amiss when you tried it?

I have a slightly different question: has anyone here tried keeping ALL of the HFS+-related patches exclusively to a System Enabler and/or Mac OS ROM file that does nothing but enable HFS+?
Either a tbxi (Mac OS ROM type) or gbly (System Enabler type) file would do... as long as they can be...
