Whenever I widen the horizontal adjust,
the top and bottom corners move out but the middle of the left and right side stays where it is... like this:

Is there an adjustment to counterbalance this and get them even?
These were the Cap values for my M1212.

I have a IIcx with 4 x 1mb SIMMs in Bank A
Can I add 4 x 4mb SIMMS in Bank B for a total of 20mb (Mode32 installed) ?
I read somewhere about the larger memory needing to be in Bank A but maybe that was just the original Mac II ?
Thanks.
It would be cool if I actually knew what the exact culprit was all along. Sockets everywhere and I did push out some of the connection pins on the VIA sockets then cleaned it again. Switched it on last night expecting the simasimac I've seen forever and it chimed...I stared at it in disbelief as...
The one I have seems to be stronger plastic like SE's and SE/30's...Shipped with no damage at all. They don't seems as brittle as the Power Mac 7200 etc. which crumble when you look at them.
if there are 11 posts over years those are regarding four different SE/30s three of which are in 100% perfect condition now. I'm simply working on a reloaded board for the last 12 months or so off and on. Be well and try to relax.
Ah man, so sorry to offend...a year off and on yes. You are one world class grumpy ole codger though so congrats on that one. All the stuff you mention is fine.
Simasimac.
No sound.
NMI switch functions mechanically but has no effect (does have continuity to GLUE pin 9 and RP8 pin 1).
What would you check first with an oscilloscope for the most basic, necessary elements to pass the POST?
