Very cool! A few other ways to print from your vintage Macs to modern printers:

It's been years since I set this up but I remember having similar issues. I was eventually able to get it working between my SE/30 and another PPC Mac I think. I believe the problem was that it didn't like my SCSI to Ethernet or LocalTalk to Ethernet converter, and that it required an actual...
Yes, you need to check it out! And no, it's by a guy named Brian Kendall. I'm sure it requires a G4 because of the smooth graphical animation and background music.
Anyone else playing this? The game is really well-done and beyond what I ever thought Hypercard was capable of. I'm up to level 18 but have had well over 300 deaths...

I went from a SE/30 to a IIsi back in the day, and prior to that I had a IIgs. The IIsi was my first color Mac, and I was thrilled to have a color computer once again! Nowadays I enjoy playing around with both of them.
I contacted the programmer, David Alyn Miller, but unfortunately he doesn't have a serial number generator for v3.1.1any longer. I found several registration numbers in Cracks & Numbers but none of them worked. 😢
I'd suggest the IIgs - it will run most of the old Apple II stuff and it's also the most Mac-like. With an Uthernet card and PiSCSI, you can share files between your vintage Macs and IIgs and also print to a modern printer over your network with both.
v3.1.1 with multiple wifi modems and v3.5.11 are up and running at:
v3.1.1 - crowsnestbbs.ddns.net:6400-6403
v3.5.11 - crowsnestbbs.ddns.net:6801
Check 'em out before they're gone!
