    Twentieth Anniversary Mac PSU replacement

I replaced the two MOVs with spares from another P6500 PSU. Connected to mains did not blow more parts, luckily. So far so good. However, the TAM doesn't power up. What's the best way to test if the PSU delivers power to the TAM?

    Twentieth Anniversary Mac PSU replacement

Thanks for the additional insights. These two seem to have blown up. They were at positions 21 and 22. Here's a closer look at one of them: Can I assume the second one has the same specs? It's covered with the white glue which is difficult to remove.

    Mouse Card for Apple ///

Thanks, lisa2. Great video! I put the mouse card into slot 1, 2 or 4 with the same results. I noticed that my Apple /// doesn't like the CFFA3000 card and the mouse card installed at the same time. That's where the A3 doesn't boot. Once I remove the CFFA3000 and leave the mouse card installed...

    Twentieth Anniversary Mac PSU replacement

I finally found time to open up the TAM PSU and assess the damage. There is grime to the right of the large capacitor on the bottom. Could this have been an exploded film capacitor (like the one just above it with the white stuff on it filled into a transparent plastic surrounding? Here's...

    Mouse Card for Apple ///

Just plugged-in the Apple II mouse card (part 670-0030-E). The Apple /// greeted me with a check board pattern (I believe four squares by thee?). I switched it off quickly to avoid any damage. Any idea what is not right here?

    Twentieth Anniversary Mac PSU replacement

I am looking for a replacement of my defective PSU for the TAM. Ebay lists PSUs with similar part numbers but I am not sure if these are also suitable for the TAM. The OEM part number is dps-150gb-1 A, that Apple part number is 614-0057. What options are there to be used as a replacement from...

    CFFA3000 and Apple ///

I've been trying to get the CFFA to work but my Apple /// does not see it. I double checked SOS.DRIVER to include the CFFA driver and that the slot number is correct. Jumpers 4 an 7 are set to "on" on the board. Any other ideas what the issue could be?

A dumb beginner-level question about the Apple III

I've used the Apple /// in the 80thies and started to use it recently again but I never had to deal with a prompt like the Apple II does. Regarding FloppyEmu: Since the drives are differently addressed by that Apple /// than the Apple II, the FloppyEmu needs an adapter. I'm just in the process...

    My second Apple ///

ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo vs CFFA3000 in an Apple ///?

I'm soon going to get an Apple /// and am thinking of adding a CF-card adapter/card into it. I found the CFFA3000 to be compatible for it. However, the documentation for the Drive/Turbo does not mention the Apple ///. Does anyone know why doesn't work on the ///?
