Reporting back my measurements.
Pre- Conditioms:
- CRT was detached and video cables were detached.
- Power cable was attached (Duh).
After turning the circuit on via power button, I got the the following measurements in the PINs mentioned by Callan above:
TP1 = 110 V
TP2 = 18 V
TP3 = 8 V...
Hi, Callan. Sorry for the late reply. I finally have some time to look into this monitor again. I was wondering if you could tell me what is the best way to measure the voltages in the pins you mentioned above? Using a longer probe and being careful not to touch anything, I can reach pin 29, 7...
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I haven't gone back to this monitor for almost 3 months when I bought a Quadra 700 with a working color display of the same type. Give me a few days and I will try the suggestion I got from Callan back in March. I will report back with the results. All in all, I had...
Thanks for the reply. I will look into this during the weekend and post the feedback here. I haven't measured PIN7, but I did measure PIN29 in the past and got 7.86V.

Hi,
Thanks so much for looking into this, and yes you are correct. This contact was already broken when I opened up the monitor and despite me being very careful, it came completely lose during the recap. I did scrape a bit of the trace and soldered one leg of the new capacitor to it. I have...
Hi,
A while ago I acquired a Color Display M1212 in pretty decent cosmetic condition. Unfortunately, the display's image was not always very sharp and would occasionally flicker or turn on and off by itself. The degaussing was also very loud when powering on the monitor. Since I have some...
