You have metristack connectors, but only female ones? I can’t find either gender available anywhere.

Physical space is the difficulty with removable DIP chips, as there’s not much. Maybe some kind of JTAG style connector onboard the redesigned CPU card with a special harness would be a possibility? Yes, I’ve read through the dev note and am pretty sure we could use the upper 2MB for a ROM disk.
