I should have said SIIG SC-SA4011. Confirmed it's SiL3114-based. Shows as pci1095,3114 in System Profiler. There's firmware available but the links are broken at SIIG's download site.

I dug a G4 (M8493) out of my storage unit. Someone gave it to me years ago and I never had a chance to power it up until now. It came with a SIIG SC0SA4011 card in it which had nothing attached. I'd be interested in getting SATA booting working, but I appear to have run into a dead-end with this...
