I can use EarthWatts if that was your design.

New PCB design: 840AV/8100 Stealth ATX

I will buy this INSTANTLY when you have available. I gave up troubleshooting my Deltas for my 8100 a long time ago. Can you also post a list of parts (possibly with links) as to what else is needed to fully complete this along with your PCB?

    DumbDD

This is a very intriguing and excellent idea. My only other suggestion would be to build a front-end like this for current macOS so that we no longer have to use Terminal-based dd.

Using Zip drive as HDD for Macintosh Plus

There's no need for ZipTools at all if you just install the 4.2 extension in whatever System you need, mount the disk, and then copy it to the disk itself.

    DeadlyGames M4 Freezing

Published application. I thought it might have been HyperCard, but it is not a stack, it is self-contained.

    DeadlyGames M4 Freezing

This is a very specific question, but it is pertaining to the DeadlyGames M4 HyperCard-based game. On both my PB1400 and PT Pro, the game freezes when the radio communications are turned on (those familiar with the game will know what that is). I have tried System 7.6.1, 8.6, and 9.1. The game...

If you could bring back classic Mac OS software, what would it be?

Fascinating, but even getting it is the antithesis of everything Classic Mac OS related: there's no compiled application. Nothing turns me off more than wanting to try an application, and finding "type this into the terminal to compile it" without any background instructions. At that point, I...

Thanks, it wasn’t clear from the initial posts.

Macintosh SE sudden death: burned chip on logic board + suspected analog board capacitor leakage

Kind of OT, but what system versions do you have? If both of your machines are running System 6 or less, there's no way for you to host files on either unless you have dedicated server software. System 7 and up had built-in file hosting.

    Getting a PowerBook 1400 Networked

There's the DaynPort PC card option as well: I have one of those. In fact, if you could find the appropriate dongle, I also have a Global Village PowerPort Platinum Pro that has two ports on it (one for ethernet, one for a modem). It didn't come with the dongles, but if you could find one...

SE anode cap: Inconsistent connection with inside of CRT?

Yes, I don’t know how MUCH you are experiencing, but with CRTs correctly set so cutoff is right before any lines appear in the tube at maximum brightness, there’s always a somewhat “larger” image than when brightness is at the lowest before the image totally disappears.

SE anode cap: Inconsistent connection with inside of CRT?

Yes. The above also is normal: the screen has ALWAYS bulged a bit when the brightness is turned all the way up.

If you could bring back classic Mac OS software, what would it be?

Actually….i wish they had a version of Kaboom! for today’s machines.

If you could bring back classic Mac OS software, what would it be?

I only do via Boot Camp. Never been a PC in my home.

If you could bring back classic Mac OS software, what would it be?

Not quite the same. Today’s macOS is a kludge of useless bloat. I prefer the cleaner OS 9 and below interface.

If you could bring back classic Mac OS software, what would it be?

Mac OS itself, except made stable underneath like early OS X.
