Thank you. If you don't mind, how did you find this info?

    Apple Performa Plus Display M9102LL/D

I just reinstalled Photoshop for the first time in a long time, and I'm configuring the gamma. Does anyone know what type of phosphors this exact model used? I guess I don't HAVE to set it to the correct ones, but I would like to. The service manual doesn't specify that info. The available...

Awesome, thanks for that suggestion. I'll check it out! Oh, I knew that :ROFLMAO: I meant was it rewritten for Mac?

Recommendations for top down game engines

That's interesting; I never knew that about Myst. It was one of, or probably the first game I got for my first PC. However, I quickly lost interest in it. But I might go back and play it sometime just for nostalgia. But first, I'd have to find it. By "originally", do you mean it was rewritten...

Recommendations for top down game engines

I don't like HyperCard. The "stacks" or whatever the programs are called, are a small visual area, and black and white only (at least from what I saw). I'd prefer to stay far away from it. I'm sure it was convenient back in the '80s, but I don't understand the appeal of it.

Recommendations for top down game engines

I have a lot of time on my hands now, so I thought it would be fun to make a simple top down game for System 7-9. There are a handful of game engines I found, such as Cold Stone, SCUMM, Unity, GameMaker, and various other tools to edit levels. But I was hoping to avoid having to try them all...

    Quirky firewire hard drive

I have this external firewire enclosure. Sometimes I have a hard time getting the drive to mount. I use it in Mac OS 9.2.2 on my Quicksilver, and on Mac OS 9.1 on my Power Macintosh 7200 with a Sonnet Tempo Trio. It had been mounting fine for a while. What I do that usually works for me, is I...

    Apple LocalTalk interface box

Just within the past day or two, I came across an extension or some software that allowed DMA transfers for AppleTalk. But now after reading your post, I don't remember where it was I found it.

Is there a SHA-1 verifier for classic Mac OS?

Awesome, thank you! :D I'll try that. I've been thinking about looking for a UNIX-like command environment for classic Mac OS, so that might fill that need.

    Apple LocalTalk interface box

I was able to connect my LC III to my Power Macintosh 7200 with a din printer cable using the printer port. However, I decided to change to PhoneNet, because phone lines are easier to find (in case I ever want to make a larger AppleTalk network).

Is there a SHA-1 verifier for classic Mac OS?

The closest I could find was Checksum Validator on the Garden, but it's for OS X. I downloaded a large file from the Repository because I couldn't find it on the Garden, but its checksum is SHA-1. I have a util called Checksum 1.3 which runs on classic Mac OS, but it can't check SHA-1.

    A/UX 3.0, Oracle for A/UX, System 7 beta & Master for DL

@chelseayr Oh sorry, I meant I wasn't sure what was on the site in the first message. I download lots of stuff from the Garden :) I realize now what I said was ambiguous lol.

    A/UX 3.0, Oracle for A/UX, System 7 beta & Master for DL

@MrFahrenheit Awesome, thank you. I wasn't sure how numerous the warez were on that old site. I frequent the Garden often, but I wasn't sure what all was on it. Like almost everything that is lost to time, I was imagining countless untold treasures of warez beyond what the OP mentioned :ROFLMAO:

What's a good 68k app for building web pages?

@chelseayr Yeah, I remember those annoying ad banners lol. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to make them go away, but finally realized there was nothing I could do. I didn't discover GeoCities until several years later. Also, I switched from HomePage to PageMill. I discovered that...

What's a good 68k app for building web pages?

Thanks, I've heard of PageMill, but never used it. HomePage works nicely. I started off by making web pages in the late '90s with Angelfire. They had a basic web editor, and I soon learned HTML. I didn't get a Mac until years later. I got my first computer in the summer of 2000, and didn't get...
