Thanks, lisa2. Great video! I put the mouse card into slot 1, 2 or 4 with the same results. I noticed that my Apple /// doesn't like the CFFA3000 card and the mouse card installed at the same time. That's where the A3 doesn't boot. Once I remove the CFFA3000 and leave the mouse card installed...
I finally found time to open up the TAM PSU and assess the damage.
There is grime to the right of the large capacitor on the bottom. Could this have been an exploded film capacitor (like the one just above it with the white stuff on it filled into a transparent plastic surrounding?
Here's...
Just plugged-in the Apple II mouse card (part 670-0030-E). The Apple /// greeted me with a check board pattern (I believe four squares by thee?). I switched it off quickly to avoid any damage. Any idea what is not right here?
It was quite ease. This YouTube video explains how: How To Repair TAM's Bose Buzz - #MARCHintosh Launch Video Featuring The 20th Anniversary Mac! - YouTube
I'll have look a the 65/6400 PSU and will share my findings here.
I am looking for a replacement of my defective PSU for the TAM. Ebay lists PSUs with similar part numbers but I am not sure if these are also suitable for the TAM. The OEM part number is dps-150gb-1 A, that Apple part number is 614-0057.
What options are there to be used as a replacement from...
I've been trying to get the CFFA to work but my Apple /// does not see it. I double checked SOS.DRIVER to include the CFFA driver and that the slot number is correct. Jumpers 4 an 7 are set to "on" on the board.
Any other ideas what the issue could be?
I've used the Apple /// in the 80thies and started to use it recently again but I never had to deal with a prompt like the Apple II does.
Regarding FloppyEmu: Since the drives are differently addressed by that Apple /// than the Apple II, the FloppyEmu needs an adapter. I'm just in the process...
My PB180c shows a white bar on the upper lower half of the display. Before I start with recapping: Any ideas what could cause this? I received it like this, haven't opened it, yet.
I am super excited that my Apple /// has arrived. It was gifted to me by an old work colleague of my fathers. They used to work at an insurance where they brought them with their own money to bring a modern policy management and risk engineering solution to their desks without having to use the...
I'm soon going to get an Apple /// and am thinking of adding a CF-card adapter/card into it. I found the CFFA3000 to be compatible for it. However, the documentation for the Drive/Turbo does not mention the Apple ///. Does anyone know why doesn't work on the ///?

I noticed that both of my blueSCSIs don't recognize the "bluescsi.ini" file. The log file states: "Config file bluescsi.ini not found, using defaults"
I "nuked" the blueSCSI and updated to the latest firmware. No change in behavior. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?
Update: Typical...
