I followed the instructions for the newly updated guide for 2.2.8. After issuing the "sudo pico /etc/netatalk/AppleVolumes.default" command I get the blank file open in pico with the following error [ Directory '/etc/netatalk' does not exist ] After looking in /etc there is no netatalk directory.

HAs anyone found a way to fix the hinge cracking problem. My beloved 1400c/G3 has a small crack in the case lid near the hinge. I have a 1400cs which has completely crack through. I want to hopefully stop the 1400c doing the same thing.

Headless A/UX is quite a feat and AppleShare Pro is a tough one also. I use to admin a Q950 running A/UX back in the day that was then replaced with a Network Server 500 with AIX. Being a Mac guy this was a bit weird but it helped me with OS X when it came along.
