Any thoughts on what's wrong with my SE?

What are you using as your boot disk. to boot the OS's? (floppy, hard drive, SCSI2SD/BlueSCSI/etc)?

    My newly arrived LC575...

From what I've heard, the internal plastic is pretty much the same as what they used on the older Powermacs.

Rebuilding an exploded black ADB Mouse II

I've heard that mixing baking soda with superglue helps make a much stronger bond this video shows it a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq5YJbZXaZk and this one goes much more in depth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1meoZaHYZo

    800k floppy read-write with Greaseweazel + FluxEngine = Success!

I ordered some PCBs for this project(rather than doing the direct wiring method) which should be here within the next week or 2, so if anyone is interested in a blank PCB or 2 for a few bucks shipped(within the US), let me know

    Warning! Exploding Maxell PRAM Batteries

Didn't realize they were still using Maxell's in the G3 Era, but I opened up my Blue and White yesterday to a tasty treat.  Luckily it seemed to clean up fairly well and I was able to boot to the flashing question mark at least.  Not sure if the drive in there works or not, or if there's an OS...

VPN for iMac G5 and Leopard

I'd be surprised if you find a PowerPC build for a Fortinet VPN that'd be compatible/have the right ciphers to connect to something modern.

Need a floppy with stuffit on it

If you have the .img, that's a floppy disk image, so you should be able to write it to a floppy disk. Not sure if Macdisk Tool supports writing floppy images to disks, but give the steps on this page a try to use WinImage...

Manual inject floppy drive not accepting disks

Hi all, I have a manual inject drive(MF355F-592MA) that's not accepting disks.  It was in a Performa 410, I went to put a disk in, it gave the couldn't read disk, need to format it, error.  I hit eject, it struggled and spat out the disk,  so I popped it open to take a look, and while I'm...

    Mac that's not a Mac

Not sure about writing disks with a Mac, but there's a way to convert a PC floppy drive to plug into the parallel port of a PC, so you can write Amiga floppies http://m1web.de/ADTWin/#Cable

    Replacing Macintosh SE PRAM Battery

I don't have a picture or anything handy, but there's a 2nd set of holes in the same area of the logic board that will fit a PRAM battery holder.  https://store.retrofixes.com/products/macintosh-se-pram-holder  is one place to buy the battery holder, there may be a better/cheaper place to buy it

HOW TO DOWNLOAD LARGE FILES FROM THE WEB

You know, I've seen the name DiskDoubler several times, but I always figured it was some kind of disk compression software for hard drives, so I ignored it thinking "I have plenty of space on all my machines, why bother!" Now I wish I had looked into it in the past, that would have come in...

May be a dead end, but help remembering the name of a simple music making program from the early 2000s?

I don't think it was any of these.  It seems like it was even more simple of an interface than Making More Music
