My q660av doesnt have a heatsink and no little connectors on side to hold one on. Maybe only needed for anything 33mhz and faster? i put a full 68040 in my lc 575 with heatsink. Also the lc 475 has no heatsink either

You might in a worse case scenario have to remove sound chip and clean pads/legs and repair traces. Check top of legs to the pads on sound chip and then legs / pads to vias / caps. Sometimes its best to check these before new caps are put on as the broken trace can be right underneath due to...

A few of my macs do that including duo 230. Not sure if its pram battery related. They start to boot then reset and then boot all the way to the desktop.

So my iici has basically the exact same nubus card as the non working asante nubus. The iici asante works perfectly so i assume the other is dead? The only difference is the supposed dead one has the barrel connector too. Will jumpers make any difference on these? Thanks again

Ok, so the asante card i pulled from the iicx is working properly in the iisi now. So i hope the maccon card isnt pooched or the other nubus lol.. will play around with other card in iicx and see if i can get that working. The picture is the one working in iisi
