MacTwister: a MacCon/Etherport/Dayna Twisted Pair breakout board

So... I found one of these in a SE without - you guessed it - the breakout board... It does have a 16pin ribbon cable - which I do have (just removed for the photo). ANY idea if your MacTwister would work with it?

Silicon Image SIL3112 Flashing: Easier Way Using flashrom

...just a down-payment on the next box of @joshc's stuff he doesn't need, nor do I, but I'll take it and toss in my storage unit on the off chance that one day there might be something in there that I *do* need.... 😜

Tokamac build and programming XC1736 chips

Apparently (@max1zzz can confirm?) the Dataman 48LV does as well. I just bagged one for about $150 - not for this, but for something old it also supports.

Checking interest for another run of IIFX 16MB ram modules

Certainly fair! Trouble is I either need to ship to UK or to US (folks) and collect - the former a matter of add'l co$t, the latter a matter of 'when'. Please serve the local interest first while I work out my plans for a US visit. If I miss out c'est la vie!

    Interware GrandVimage 24-16 image/vram issues?

Have you given the pins on the PDS connector a good [IPA] 'scrub'? Of course, don't be too rough, but the above makes me wonder if it might be less-than-perfect electrical contact with the PDS slot? 🤔

    Apple 2 composite capture

What about setting up a DSLR (on tripod?) and just videoing the display connected to the Apple II? Not super sophisticated, but with a zoom lens and rigid setup (and DSLR/lens on manual focus) it could work?

    Motorola 68060 upgrade

Yes, one of those was the Spectre GCR https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectre_GCR I have one I bought from new - for the very reason stated - the Atari ST (mine was a STfm boosted to 4Mb) was much cheaper than a real Mac. The 'GCR had the added advantage that thanks to some wizardry, it could...

Silicon Image SIL3112 Flashing: Easier Way Using flashrom

So... work's a time drain atm, so took me 'til today to do some testing. Here are the results (using HDT 4.5.2) : Upper left is my ACARD with a 8Gb DoM, lower left is my B&W's onboard IDE targeting a 160Gb rust spinner, on the right, the Adaptec/SIL3112 targeting an old 64Gb SSD I had to hand...

Anyone got a spare Beige G3 ROM?

Clearly... but it's interesting that the 'values' on the "A" ROMs are smaller than those on the "C" ROMs. Could 98371 be 1998, Week 37, day 1?

Anyone got a spare Beige G3 ROM?

Also interesting... under the "SHARP" silkscreen... Top two : 98061, 98085. Bottom two : 98391, 98397.

Anyone got a spare Beige G3 ROM?

Top two are Rev.A, bottom two Rev.C. I've not looked closely at the chip numbers, what's more obvious are the (c) dates... Top two (c)1997, bottom (c)1998.
