120V -> 240V Conversion of Classic Analog Board Macintosh 630-0395?

If you are talking about the Macintosh Classic, then, yes, you can change the voltage. I have converted a 240V board to 120V, and the opposite should be possible. I found the artached post in an old newsgroup that I used as a guide.

Better Trackball for Kensington Turbo Mouse

No worries, just wanted to make sure any new "converts" have a positive experience! :)

Better Trackball for Kensington Turbo Mouse

Needs to be American "billiard" size, which is 2 1/4" for the early Kensingtons. American "pool" size is 2" = too small.

Better Trackball for Kensington Turbo Mouse

For anyone in the UK - these can be had here -- https://www.clubking.co.uk/shop/snooker-and-pool/spare-balls/black-no.8-ball-standard-2-1/4-inch.html. I've ordered a couple and they work great! :)

Likewise, interesting... sounds like we need to launch a new thread... @Phipli - maybe you should start an ECL-inator thread? 🤣

    Designing a Mac-to-VGA monitor sync-splitter adapter

I figured I should move this convo to the main Sync-inator thread... Oh, I didn't know such a thing existed? Do you have a link? Or did you mean 'video card' rather than 'adapter'? Makes sense. IDK what the market would be like - certainly not as large as that for the Sync-inator. I wonder...

Seeking beta testers for Mac Sync-inator VGA sync converter

Understood, but there was NO implication his nifty device should do anything other than what it's designed for. Why not let the designer comment / shoot this down rather that deciding for him? FWIW, I think his stuff is AWESOME!! Love my FloppyEMUs!!!

Seeking beta testers for Mac Sync-inator VGA sync converter

I suppose I could send the cards your way? I have at least one card + 9pin output connector that came out of a Mac Plus - I believe it was used with a large external monitor for displaying engineering drawings. The Plus was ex-Western Electric UK. I beliece there were loads of other "compact...

Seeking beta testers for Mac Sync-inator VGA sync converter

^^^ what @dcr said. In addition to a similar collection, I also have a few - what I believe to be - "TTL" video cards that have 9 pin (mono) outputs. Have you thought about ingesting that sort of input and regurgitating "VGA"? Obviously, you'd need to map 9 pin to 15, and some (most?) of those...

    SCSI2SD V3 hard drive and CD-ROM simultaneously

Interesting... I guess they added it when CDs became 'a thing'? ...or after Apple introduced their own (external) ones.
