The bezel arrived today. It fits like it was built for it. :-D All in all it seems no problem to fit non-Iomega drives. Maybe I'll paint the drives dust cover and face plate black or better dark grey at a later time.

I got myself a nice B&W G3 tower. I'll upgrade it with parts I have on hand. I have a NEC made internal ZIP drive I put inside the G3. But the drive sticks out around 5 mm. I dont think thats gonna work with the drive bezel I have to aquire. The screw holes do align and there is no other method...

I think I'm okay with this screen. Maybe there are some geometry issues, but I dont feel confident fiddeling with the magnets to work out the issues.

Yes I reflowed nearly all connections on the analog board. I did not check the cable. Will do it. The connector on the logic board side is okay. No cracked joints.

Regarding recap I have to add that I did not replace the one bipolar cap at C1 cause I did not have such a cap "on stock".
