I can vouch for the use of isopropyl alcohol to help remove most of the stickiness from those Newton cases. It works 90% of time, based on my experience.
If you can’t locate the keyboard or power adapters, let me know. I have a number of spares that I can send to a new home for a decent price...
Not rare (at least compared to some other Newton software titles).

Also, digging through my archives I found the beta versions of Evolution 2.0.3 … which was never released publicly. I’ll need to check for the release notes to determine what was changed or fixed in that version.
This was mostly 1990–1991, during The Font Wars.

I worked at Image Club Graphics when we developed Evolution. I wrote the user manual, handled tech support, and designed the interface/packaging/icons. In fact, I even managed to keep a copy of the source code safe and sound … it’s around here somewhere …

Hey, @Huxley … let me know if this script works for you. I haven’t had a chance to load PT100 onto a Newton yet to try it myself.
As mentioned on the tweeter, the Newton Keyboard does not require drivers.
The suggestion regarding a broken trace in that earlier thread is interesting, but I find it hard to believe that the same circuit board issue would happen to so many keyboards. I think the failing capacitor or dirty...
