Yeah... I was looking for a way to duplicate it, but it seems random. Ran the test 3 times and got 1000 on fifo. Ran it one more time and got 1010.

Update. I ran it again and i got a different fifo result (machine had sat off for a while). Restarted and it's back to 1000 on the fifo again.

I actually ran the test on two different quadra 700's, but i used the same boot image. The results were the same on both. I can try running the app on different os versions if you want me to. The 950 was running os 8 I believe (will check tonight).

Agree, too. Don't forget the Sony Caddy cdrom while you're doing the motherboard.. I haven't found one without bad caps. Most are saveable, but some take a lot more work than others.

This is the q950. Again multiple times and the 3rd bracket changed occasionally. Good news is it's not locking up anymore.

I have Quadra 700 have one too, but unsure if the quad doubler will affect you test. If it does I can remove it.

I don't have a 610, but both my 475 and 660av require a pram battery to boot. If you haven't replaced it / installed one that's probably the issue your having getting it to boot. If you've pulled all the caps you'll definetly have no sound and probably other issues too. That tdk power supply...
