PSI 030 Bus Adaptor with 64KB Cache It! IIsi module

Sure. No luck so far. I don't think "PSI Integration Inc" made it to the web era to have a possibly archived website/downloads. :-/ Did find a somewhat interesting product/pricing list in Mac User Feb 92:

I’m hoping to use it in my Quadra 700… hopefully that’s an upper bound 33Mhz rating…

Wombat (650, 800) board overclocking limitations

I seem to be hitting the jack pot on 68k L2 cache in that I think I picked up one of these Daystar "FastCache Quadra" L2 modules for cheap on eBay (after also finding one for the IIsi). Any pointers to the QuadControl v2.3 extension download? I don't see it on Macintosh Garden. It's labelled...

I just bought one of these off eBay recently! (did I buy it from you/did you sell yours?). Did you need any Extension/software to enable it?

    Coolest 68k Powerbooks to own?

Sorry, my sarcasm to text failed here. My 180 has tunnel vision and as per what most people see its takes some number of minutes for it to affect use. My poor attempt at a joke was if I only use it for 2 minutes I can pretend it does not have tunnel vision. Guess I’m not quitting my day job for...

Subwoofer to pair with AppleDesign Powered Speakers I

I think that's the reverse question, what would be some nice "matching" speakers for a 6400/6500 which has a built-in subwoofer? As far as I know this one specific early/original version of the AppleDesign Powered Speakers are the only Apple external speakers that will work with any Mac, that...

Subwoofer to pair with AppleDesign Powered Speakers I

I went down this exact same rabbit hole a couple years ago via eBay and couldn't find a Platinum-esque subwoofer I was willing to pay the price for, I only wanted to pay something under ~$30. There was at least one model by "Advent" that I had my eye on, I think it might have been "Advent...

    Coolest 68k Powerbooks to own?

My 180 is tunnel vision-free! Yes siree, absolutely perfect! ...now I don't turn it on for more than 2 minutes at a time but I see no reason to believe that it is anything but perfect! (Lego Movie Unikitty voice: "is this working?")

    PB 2400c ram

There is some info on this isn the PB 2400 and 3400 developer notes. There are copies here among other places. http://powerbook.micahgartman.com/ RAM Expansion 1 The PowerBook 2400c computer accommodates one SO (small outline) DIMM for RAM expansion. The DIMM can have either 16 or 32 MB...

Installation media or image for Powerbook 540c with PPC upgrade

I have the NewerTeck 117MHz PPC upgrade (that comes with 8MB RAM) not the Apple original but I found this on Macintosh Garden: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macintosh-powerbook-powerpc-upgrade-the-powerbook-500-series-computer which appears to be a CD that Apple shipped with their PB 500...

Installation media or image for Powerbook 540c with PPC upgrade

With the PPC upgrade card I think the Gestalt ID might change. The programers of that Lind utility maybe didn't account for that? You should be able to use this to override Gestalt ID so your 540c PPC show up to the system as a standard 540c: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/mac-identifier-v22

How does the upscaling work for the Apple TV Tuner Card?

Some info on this general topic in the LC/Quadra 630 Developer note: e.g, Page 17: "The display memory contains three separate frame buffers. The first frame buffer holds the graphics data—the display that is generated by the computer. The other two frame buffers hold video data from the video...

    Cloning the Farallon MacRecorder

Curious, does that mean for stereo it would need to connect to two serial ports (like two physical MacRecorders would to do stereo), or is there someway the serial outputs could be interleaved? ...although I suppose then it wouldn't work with the MacRecorder drivers...
