My experience has been that for images that show up in the log as ok, tools like SCSI probe see the hard disk and display something like "BlueSCSI device..." and the image "HD" size, even if the image isn't bootable... Random thought, could you be using a SCSI ID for your image(s) that is in use...

Seems kinda like the IIsi mod to put 4MB on the logic board (instead of the stock 1MB). In Adrian's specific case I believe he had stolen a logic board IC that is needed to support the expansion card to fix another board.

I have one of these too, also without the cable... I did get the manual with mine, not that it has anything like a cable pinout in it. It does show what the cable looked like. It's a Y-Cable, male ABD for your Mac with a short female ADB for your keyboard and a longer "SCI" cable to the PoweKey...

I do! ...and recall spending a lot of time figuring out a power supply for it. I don't recall where I purchased it but here's picture of the label with the specs and importantly the connector pin-out. I have vague memoir of find ones online that looked all good except one of the 5 pins was off.

I most definitely want one of these! My one small LCD that supports sync-on-green (ViewSonic VG150) is flaking out on me and it would be so nice be able to just keep just my NEC LCD1550V on my workbench to use with all my vintage Macs!
