It does the job ok, but it's hard to navigate and read some sites when everything is just dumped on the page. MacWeb 2.0c/System 7.1.1/LC III I don't think you could browse the modern web like this. But if you're just looking to check up something or download a file it's definitely handy.

If you just want to read data CDs on it, the freeware Sunrise driver on the Mac Driver Museum link is perfect. Works fine on System 6 too (with Desktop Manager). The "universal" and hacked Apple drivers didn't work at all here with my old 1x external SunCD.

Stumbled upon this while looking through Google and figured I'd post it here. CMW+ was a multilevel secure version of A/UX geared towards federal contracts (defense etc) where strong security was required. It was developed by SecureWare and version 1.0 was based on A/UX 1.1.

Are you running the newest AppleShare client on the Macs? I'm not sure how far up you can go with System 6. In 7.1 I got an application error when trying to mount volumes served from my bootcamp partition (Windows XP running the Windows 2000 Services for Macintosh) using the System 7.1...

One thing I really like in BeOS on a Mac is being able to call up context menus by just holding down the mouse button. Was any driver/extension/control panel that could do this in Mac OS?

BeOS should install OK on that even with the G3 accelerator. It didn't have any trouble with my G3-accelerated 7500 (although the cache obviously wasn't enabled). It just showed up as a PowerPC 750. It wasn't the processor that caused problems so much as the logic board that went with the new...
