Yeah, probably some teeth on a gear in the mechanism broke off or have worn down. Hopefully the new drives will fix the problem. Nice haul by the way! The Molar Mac was one of the best looking AIOs IMO.

Make sure to remove the faceplates off the drives before installation. Otherwise, they will cause the tray to stick.

I ordered a 128k board off of eBay and I want to make sure it works when I get it since it has been sitting in the service box for almost 30 years. I would leave the floppy drive unplugged. I just want to make sure it gets to the blinking floppy without a problem.

Strange. I reseated the RAM and only had wait 15 seconds until I saw the floppy icon. I don't know what happened, but it just wouldn't work before. I thought I might have had to do a recap on the LoBo. Thanks for everyones help!

Before I made the video I let it sit on the gray screen for 2 minutes to see what it would do. It sat at the same screen. I didn't let it sit for after I reseated the RAM, so that could have been it. I'll try reseating the RAM again and let it sit to see what it does.
