I'll try to grab all that stuff so I can mirror it somehow. I think we're drifting from the original subject, though. I was curious if anyone knew what versions A/UX's default supplied shells (/bin/sh, /bin/ksh, /bin/csh) are.

Csh Programming Considered Harmful. 'Nuff said. ;) My point gets at, why should I learn one shell to use interactively and another to program with? There are several good programming shells with nice interactive features - or good interactive shells that work well for programming too...

I like BSD. But *csh is a sucky shell.

CHC, I may have asked this before somewhere, but I forget. Does any of your stuff make it back into the main Fx project tree?

Once upon a time I was partially successful in getting pkgsrc working on my ANS. Built a few "modern" packages with it. I sold that ANS and probably have the packages archived on a drive somewhere, but I'm afraid that's not much help. So I post this by way of saying you might give pkgsrc a try...

Brampton is still in development. It has a pretty large repertoire now, and then late in the game I decided to change the serifs and spacing throughout. That's rather tedious, so it's slowed me down quite a bit.

IIRC (not personal experience), the display is virtually illegible at 800×600, and it is impossible to center it in the geometry of the visible screen area. 640×480 is the highest usable resolution.

Just have to reiterate that Mozilla's current release cycle plan is really stupid. (But thanks to CHC for keeping up with the insanity.) That is all.

I always find this so ironic, since FF was developed to replace the slow, bloated Moz App Suite. "Just a browser!" everyone screamed, so they split out the browser. "Don't throw in the kitchen sink!" everyone shouted, so they developed add-on capabilities. But it's still huge.
