I checked the power supply and recapped it completely and it works like a champ rock steady voltages at the expected levels,
I recapped the board using tantalum caps. Everything seemed to go really well. No pads damaged...
Check the -12V line from the analog board. I found that it wasn't making it passed the cable on mine. I cleaned up the plug area and reflowed the solder. It gets damaged if the nearby caps leak.

Nah it's not. There is a bit of epoxy which seals the joins which happens to have blobbed out (from the factory).
I can't see any cracks or damage. In fact the flyback looks really good.
