Nothing on display.....got the 12, 5 and -12 volts on external floppy port; only 12 on the internal floppy port....need to look at/locate the pinouts on  ROM and processor I guess...can acmes the ROM and ports easily but lots and lots of screws to get past shielding to mainboard

Looked inside...didn't see anything, but did ruin my Apple Iic ROM when I tried it. Heres a couple of pictures of the logic board incase it helps someone. The Laser ROM is on the bottom of the logic board and is accesible  by removing 2 screws.

I don't know, but in your picture of UD8 its hard to imagine that pins 3 and 4 aren't shorted at the board...andmaybe its the angle but is there a Pin 3 even there coming from UD8?

So after ALOT of work as my last action on a working 180c, I replaced the hinge covers closed the top and walked 20 feet inside, plugged in and got a white screen only. I had pinched the LCD cable with the hinge cover then ripped it when I closed. I'm not counting on finding a replacement cable...

Mixed results with retro bright.....Apple Iic looked fantastic about 18 months ago after retrobright.....now its clearly yellowed again in an office environment , maybe not quite as bad as before retrobright....but  a Powermac 7500 done at about the same time on the same table holding up well...
