Well, turns out it probably was the monitor, at least in part. Picked up an identical 17" Studio Display on FaceBook Marketplace (for $20!) and it's been working fine for 3 days now with no difficulties waking from sleep and the USB hub actually seems to work fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️

No third party card. All slots empty and only usb devices are the keyboard and mouse. I’ll have to figure out how to check the power supply.
