CRT Yoke rotation after case opening

Ok fixed, I was looking at the wrong screw. You should use the screw the most at the back of the mac, not the one closest to the display.

CRT Yoke rotation after case opening

In fact I'm not actually sure where I should remove the glue. Could anyone tell me exactly which glue should I remove before rotating the yoke ? Thanks. In

CRT Yoke rotation after case opening

Hi everyone, After opening my SE/30 to mount my SCSI2SD and reclosing the case I noticed that the image displayed on the screen was a little bit rotated compared to before opening the case. You case see attached picture to see. (Both images were taken after the rotation).  What could be the...

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Thanks for the hint ! Really happy that you made me learn something today :)   But I'm still wondering why they don't specify a max mean current for each package in their datasheet though.

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Thanks for your feedback ! I ordered the boards yesterday from jlcpcb, so I'll have to try first with the MIC5319. But I'm preparing a new design with the MCP1825 according to your advice :) .  Out of curiosity how did you compute the ~100C temperature ? I would be interested to be able...

SCSI to Ethernet Adapter on New Hardware

I just added a second scsi port to the design ;)  you can have a look there :

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

It had been asked multiple times, I just updated to design to have two SCSI ports to allow for daisy chaining :)   The connector used will be this one : https://www.digikey.fr/product-detail/fr/adam-tech/DPD-25-00-B3/2057-DPD-25-00-B3-ND/9833611

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Great I'm joining right now ! :) By the way I'm changing my regulator to a lower dropout voltage : MIC5319-3.3YD5-TR it will be safer for people with bad USB wall charger, and will support SCSI bus with a weak TPWR.

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Great ! Happy that there is some interest in this project ! :) Yes shipping to Italy should be not that expensive and faster :p   If you think on a better name than 68net that could be some help :p  (but maybe 68net is fine also !)

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Sure ! this is quite easy you'll see : Ignore PWR_FLAG this is a symbol needed for Kicad to prevent a warning. - +5V is actually the 5V from my USB port - TPWR is the TPWR pin from SCSI I assume you know how a diode works. If you apply power to USB, VCC will be 5V (minus some voltage...

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Ok, you were right this is something important. I fixed the design so that you will now be able to enable/disable termination using a jumper :)

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Yes I saw that thread, really interesting resources ;) On my design power can be provided by the SCSI bus or/and the USB port. The board has some circuitry that automatically switches between these two sources, so for the end user it is really convenient. On a mac that has a stable SCSI 5V...

68net - a modern SCSI to Ethernet board

Hello everyone ! I had been looking to connect my SE/30 to the internet but I struggled to find PDS boards that would fit in it, and all SCSI to Ethernet boxes that I found were missing floppies with drivers. Moreover most of this stuff was in the US so shipping would be really expensive. Then...

    SE/30 weird floppy drive issue

I see. Do you have any hints on how to figure out which between the logic board and the floppy drive is having an issue first ? (whithout buying a new drive) I'd like to avoid testing 1000 traces for nothing :p

    SE/30 weird floppy drive issue

Yes I did recap my Logic Board. I checked all Data and Address traces between CPU and floppy chip and they are ok. The rest of the board should be ok as I'm able to use System7 from HD without issues. I had an issue with another trace...
