Little updates here :)
I improved a bit stability and was able to load an html page in Netscape and connect to an Apple Share Server using 68net :D
Everything is half stable for the moment, I need to improve the reselection algorithm which seems to take a lot of time before...
Great job ! This looks like a lot of work, congrats !
May I ask what would be the use for such a card ? Would you be able to drive an external screen ?
Hi everyone !
I have been really really busy with life and work last year but I really wanted to make this project work !
I have been struggling in the last week with implementing correctly reselection on 68net which was really tricky because timing are tight and driver does not behave always...
Yes using a pin to enter the bootloader seems like a good idea :) It is for instance how it works on STM32 where the BOOT0 pin can be held low (or high, I don't remember) to enter the bootloader at reset.
This safe because when that pin is not triggered the bootloader does not affect your main...
I'm sure I'm in good company 😋
Makes sense. Too much time sensitive stuff going on would makes it hard to handle all communication going on :)
Makes sense also. One thing you could do (and that maybe you already thought about) is to expose the programming headers so that people who have a...
Two naive questions here :
Do you really need the PIC there ? I know a lot of code and work has been put in developing a transceiver for that chip but how much would it cost to port that code to the esp ? (Maybe that's too much)
I have a really old experience with PIC, and back in the days you...
Thanks for your clear answers !
Little noob question, if ones want to do ethernet on its vintage mac what are the pros and cons of using EtherTalk on your hardware versus using SCSI to Ethernet boards ? Which would be the best solution ?
Do you have any idea of an AppleTalk file server software that would run on a modern computer and be able to share files around your network using AirTalk ? :)
For information here is the connector I bought and the one this board is designed for : https://www.digikey.fr/fr/products/detail/kycon-inc/KMDGX-4S-BS/9990073?s=N4IgTCBcDa4AwE4wFoDSBZAIgcQBrIBYBlZAIRIDlMQBdAXyA
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for an Apple I Replica to ask Santa 🎅
I would like the closest replica to the original, no modern microcontrollers on it, that assembles with a PCB (no breadboard).
I'm good enough at soldering so no big issues.
Do you know where I can find such a replica ? (In EU if...
I would like to add two of my projects :
Nearly finished (really hard to find time to finish the project, but 90% finished) :
68net : modern SCSI to Ethernet board - thread - github
Finished :
Cheap ADB to USB adapter - thread - github
