    I do have G4 MDD - originally its FW400 model, with FW800 1.4ghz CPU & Copper Heatsink on it, with Sonnet SATA card with SSD attached to it - its a quite quick mac - which is why I hadn't done Sonnet upgrade. Yes it does boot into OS9 with Sonnet from what I know. Cheers AP

    Yep that would be Lupis Video & Ethernet card that was for PowerBook 190/5300 series with an adapter - I had that one too - but PowerBook 1400 is different one and If I recall correctly - there isn't one combined ethernet & video in one. Cheers

    Because the original Wallstreet only has 233mhz without L2 cache, 250mhz and 292mhz. Which PDQ came in as 233mhz with L2 cache, 266 & 300mhz. Also Gestalt ID is another thing. Cheers AP

    HFS+ is Mac OS 8.1 upwards. Mac OS 8.0 is the last OS that is HFS. (whereabouts HFS+ should have been in Mac OS 8.0 to begin with!

    Spot the difference - PowerBook G3 292mhz & 350mhz cpus.

    Yes there are resisters under that sticker - its R33 and R34. It is showing 350mhz in Guage Pro and Norton's System Info as well - so across 3 programs (incl Apple's System Info) it is showing 350mhz. Weird! Cheers AP
