The CD works fine. It's not a hardware issue. It just isn't working with OS 9.

It came with 9.2.1. I'll have to find a 9.2.2 disc. It boots fine and everything works, except the CD. Thanks!

Thanks, I pulled the VRM out and everything (at least visually) looks good. This machine got slammed around pretty good by UPS or FedX I don't remember which. So I'm thinking I'm gonna disassemble the rest of the machine and re-assemble. I placed a new battery in there hoping that would fix it...

I do get a green LED light on the front of the machine. I don't know if I want to dump any more money into this thing though.
