@Shinobi Kenobi its a bit alike to "dust this and find something, continue dusting only to find something again, and continue ad nausea!" with the garden itself if you ask me tbh :-)
(and hey don't try look for it in 1985, I think it was too early for that heh)
the avid cinema pci card was one such common use of that 34-or-60pjn (depends on apple video-in card revision) connector .. the other small header is for the more commonplace tv (or less common tv/fm combo card) daughtercard
as for the fa311 pci card some sources says its a windows vista card...
well considering that even the last basestation models still had 802.11b it'll likely still know how to deal with wep security yeah
(unlike many other wifi hardwares even from the 2010's that often lacked 802.11a and even at times also 802.11b as well so you end up with the 'worst' model only...
@Shinobi Kenobi funny to run into someone else who had angelfire too heh. I end up using the advanced editor almost from the start just as well (the only thing that obviously wasn't mine raw coding were the silently injected ad banner but mm)
well are the newer devices using 5ghz alone or mixed 2.4/5ghz? if latter then mm well I mean if you can keep the new ones on just middle and upper channels while the old ones use the lower channel - you should be able to still see more or less the same speeds on the former no matter how...
@Franklinstein thats for sure an interesting non-original mod especially with somehow combining the two different card antenna ports into a single case antenna port too (one tuner is for tv and other tuner is for fm, two very different radiowaves) .. sorry for a long reply but: just for...
@croissantking I tried look this up for a little awhile tonight but hm didn't get far..
not knowing anything about the chipset itself (other than that obviously its a yosemite) I wonder if the chipset architecture was limited with the various onboard devices to manage and yet still providing 3...
ah thanks @croissantking that makes sense regarding csi for nubus and csii for pci
didn't know about regarding specific incompatibility in name of ethernet..but..in the spirit of a sitcom character who is very idiosyncratic one could say "excuse me but what is the actual point? it has ethernet...
@Franklinstein hmm I would have to say it for sure was an unofficial dealer modification as the beige g3 didn't have the rear cutout necessary for the tv tuner option unlike the performa systems
(although I have not ever seen the rear of an aio so I don't know if it was a different story with...
well @Dandu I could be wrong but I wonder if there was something else in the system-specific install cd that was particular to the av's?
http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macintosh-os-71x#Macintosh_Quadra_660AV_and_840AV_installation_CD
thats the disc in question
I have to say @guibrush indeed is correct, and for anyone curious it seem like norway and switzerland and part of north side of germany all have definitive plans to move from fm to dab+
(there may be more and/or better details but I'll leave that to someone else due to me shortly going out for...
ah mm well sorry to keep being a bit offtopic but yeah while waiting for the foodstore to be eventually open I was looking online for a bit and it surprisingly was easy to find..
I present you this;
https://www.mobygames.com/game/4715/4x4-evo/
and as I found in one of the mac reviews listed...
as for 'true' crossplatform its been an awhile so I can't recall any name or anything anymore but I know there was one particular vehicle racing game that could connect between dreamcast and windows and I think it may even had mac too or was I thinking of a second game console instead .. even...
I can't quite look it up now re making breakfast very shortly then heading out for a few hours..but I know that for a while there was a particular system7today topic (which kept showing up in the 'latests post' rank which is how I noticed it for awhile) about finding existing internet radio...
hack = at your own risk
doesn't possibly mutilate your system in an obvious way = why is it in hacks?
I know its actually a lot more vague than that but its probably still a good way to oversimplify the existence of this particular forum category tho? :-)
@gsteemso fusebox by water isn't the only wild thing inept-or-noncaring people gets away with, what about gas pipes literally right through ductway with a pipe-to-pipe weld mid-duct as well?
(and I still remember one particular 2000-2010 hgtv holmes episode rerun where he openly complained...
well @Chardonneret the 'small' stylewriters were pretty much canon hardware underneath the apple plastics to a certain degree so tbh expendables not surprisingly are alike at times. as a just-for-one-example footnote the bc10 ink would work in almost every older 2-digits canon bjc printers in...
thanks @finkmac I was sure I recall the rom slot being always empty under normal conditions (even then I only just now remembered something else, is this still the same story for the few nubus/pds-not-pci board in the same number range?)
I could be wrong but as far as I recall the 7xxx-9xxx series or therefore somehow had a rom slot as much as the rom was already actively onboard itself, the slot itself probably is some troubleshooting leftover that was retained in production for some apparent reason (on the other hand the 6xxx...
