I personally never have seen a 1400 ram with vertical chips on it, only horizontal and also the connector on the 1400 is more centered, the one on the photo is more off.. 1400 ram but here a japanese auction photos of a 1400 RAM with vertical chips..ok the same connector also was used...

I installed 10.1 on my G3 Kanga ( with max 128MB RAM) via XPostFacto but it wasnt fun..it basically ran but without Ethernet. there still is a difference between a Wallstreet-to-Pismo and a Kanga architecturally

the pismo was a quite capable G3 machine back then, fanless..but a G4 is quite another thing heatwise. I guess you did some research on that mod and experiences with it before? may try to get something like this working in the CD bay?

do you have a photo before the repairs/ ultrasonic cleanings? it helps locating spots for clues

maybe the quarz crystal got damaged during the multiple ultrasonic cleanings, or was it removed before that..

did you get the replacement Schottky yet? I guess you already tried connecting the power adapter and power on with pressing Control+Command+Power and immediately reset the PRAM on the first sound.

make sure the CPU,RAM and ROM boards are seated in firmly..do you have a spare CPU, maybe it is dead. and when the Schottky was dead, something was causing this.
