Oh awesome. CPU Director wouldn't allow me to boot when i had a Sonnet G4 on my carrier card, so I stopped using it. But I have since replaced the G4 with a faster G3, so will give it a try again. I really like CPU Director so that makes me very happy to know it can work with the Sonnet.

I believe there was a special OS 9 installer for G4s; is that what you used? You might consider running something like OS X 10.4 or 10.3, which can run a Classic environment.

Maybe painting is a better idea? My understanding is the ABS becomes brittle because plasticizers or something leach out of it; perhaps painting would seal these in?
