Friend of mine has an se/30. He recapped it and cleaned it. Looks good. But turns on, chime, but black screen or weird screen. I removed and cleaned a few things up but no dice. Gets a good chime, but thats all. Will check voltages. I using a completely recapped se chassis so definitely logic...

Well, more like right time (was just listed) and was able to get it. Ontario, especially the greater Toronto area has lots of collectors so its who can get there first lol.. some people Will change the price after they get many responses thinking they priced it too cheap

Yeah, mine needed cleaning there as well. Have to take time taking the metal frame off to open it up but easy after that. Amazing where all that cap juice flows too.

Actually looks like the rear polarizer is cooked being burnt orange. Hard to say what can be done. The blue screen of death is notorious for these machines.

Hate to resurrect an old thread. My 2400c gets the glod and then sometimes the speaker tick and board is warm, but no life other then that. Think its cpu card or logic board? All fuses are good. Haven’t tried a new pram either
