Never mind.  Motorola did make a 16 MHz 68000.  Can't find a Mac that used it though.

Was there a 16 MHz 68000?  I see several Macs used a 8 MHz 68000 but haven't found one at 16 MHz. The LC had a 16 MHz 68020 and the LC II had a 16 MHz 68030.

Interesting to know.  I never tried changing the name and on one system accidentally copy/pasted the icon which resulted in it never appearing "fat" when something was in the trash.  Usually, I applied a blue label to the trash which made the trash can blue-ish which I thought looked better. ;)

You put the bottle opener on the front panel of the hard drive or unused bay on your tower case. ;)

How about a mouse with an ADB port and USB port so you can connect either cable and use it on old and new Macs?  Also, when plugged into USB, it's also a flash drive.  Optical too so no mouse ball required.  ;)

I went ahead and booted it.  Did so while plugged in.  Set the clock, opened a couple files, then shut down.  Tested battery and the fourth LED is solid rather than flashing.  Booted from the battery and it shows the battery at 99%.  Not too bad.  Dropped to 98% after a minute or so, but didn't...
