IIRC Churchill is present in the disk.

    IIc with checkboard

The CRT is small and tight , not easy to work inside. The only thing that can go wrong is the RIFA capacitor, so i will not worry until the board is not working properly.

    Cube PSU schematics

Looking information or schematics for a Cube PSU. I have a shorted component but the only information that is present is the D3 label on it. Any clue ?

    Plus 800k FDD magic smoke???

The floppy alone standing on top of the metal frame ? Without any protection in between ? So probably the board got shorted by the frame.

    Se/30 questions

Not sure a 100% but concerning UE8, pins 6/7 and 8 don't look soldered ok, and barely touching the pads.

Mac Plus video issue / question

Hi, not easy to help, but the very fisrt thing to have a look at is at cold solder joints or broken ones, next is to have a look at voltage outputs (at the floppy port) You have adjustments on the side of the analog board, your image is stretched out and blurry, try to adjust it also first.

If you have got a chime, then the board has achieved the self test, can you post a picture of the UE8 and surroundings ?

128K Analog Recap photos and WTB:128K Motherboard

I have seen red battery holders in late AB units also, probably several suppliers for a same part. The early AB boards had a small top metal stiffener serving as a cooling device also, and the cardboard shield was brown instead of white IIRC

128K Analog Recap photos and WTB:128K Motherboard

The original Macintosh had a mouse with a big connector and thumbscrews (so this is correct) the PLus had the thinner/samll one.

Hi, yes, i also agree, the LED will lit as soon as connected to mains. The PSU is just a Powermac 6400/6500 one in the BOSE enclosure, nothing fancy

Buzzing noise from Apple IIe transistor?

So your capacitors are ok. Again. your PSU is not an original unit but a clone, you can use your multimeter for checking outputs from it, probably one or more are bad.

Buzzing noise from Apple IIe transistor?

You should look for a short, not voltage. Using the continuity mode of the multimeter, look for any, you should not get a short between the positivé and négative side.

Buzzing noise from Apple IIe transistor?

Hi, sorry not diodes but capacitors (my fault) those are the ones on the top left of the motherboard (C9/12/15/17) But looking at the PSU, this is not an original unit, more a clone, and most are poor in quality. I will not be surprised if it’s bad.

Buzzing noise from Apple IIe transistor?

Hi, The blinking led is related with a shorted component, and the IIe is known for logic board diode failures. Have a look at the bullet diodes near the PSU connector, and check for a short unit.

    Apple II psu potentiometer

Any hard drive will only need 5 and 12 volts, so wiring it from the Apple II PSU should not be hard.
