Did you try changing the user client in the settings? Sometimes that fixes issues.

That would be awesome. I don't think there are any PDS cards made for the IIfx except I think the tokamac used it and there's some sort of SCSI card for it, both impossible to find. It's begging for some sort of new use!

For the rust on the case metal part, personally, I would remove it and soak it in evapo rust, then replace. You don't NEED it, think its for interference reasons, but always nice to keep things complete.

These have been having PSU issues recently, has it been recapped? Also, make sure the power button on the back isn't turned in so it stays on.
