BeOS (for certain), (and to my knowledge, all linux builds) never supported any onboard capture cards... your best bet is to nab a BT848 card (the TurboTV card for macs works, but many pc-only cards will as well), as linux/beos support for that chipset is plentiful.

do yourself a favor and find a nubus video card that does not require sog. the iici will ONLY do 640x480 max resolution (can do portrait as well, but requires hardwired adapter for apple portrait display or compatible) on its internal video output. thus, not only will you need to find a sog...

not exactly true... Performa 600 will do nubus and a/ux (granted the installation of an fpu) regardless, no- a/ux's mac environment is a huge mess... one should consider it akin to classic/bluebox

as the 580 is a 630 with a crt attached shoehorned into a 520's case, I'd look towards why the 630 won't do 24-bit, and I'd wager it is because iirc, the oldest system shipping with the 630 was 7.5

It just gives you an FPU, now contrary to popular belief, and experience from doing this when the machines were apple's current systems... there is next to NO real speedup for general purpose apps. check out wikipedia or similar for an explanation of FPU's, but in reality, there are a few apps...

That's odd.. i checked the file and it's correct.. It's an acrobat 8 file, so you might need to upgrade acrobat? Preview in 10.5 seems to read it fine as well, but I'm not running 10.4 or before on anything anymore so i can't check that...

Finally snagged a MacTV mouse and spare (sold already) keyboard with black adb cable off ebay for a nice small 9$... also finally tried out the IIGS keyboards mr680x0 had traded me many moons ago, and they all work fine after some resoldering of the adb plugs! Can't really be much happier with...
