Got it. That's an old unsupported mode which doesn't work anymore due to Bluetooth security updates. It never worked with MacOS. I think you are the first person to use it.
With 1.4.4 you can try with the pin 484848, it worked on Windows 10 back then
Always nice to have options, good job!
Yeah it's kinda short but sufficient enough if the mouse is near the Mac. Can always use a straight serial cable as an extender
Hello,
Had theses around, figured I could make a guide on how to convert them to use with old Macs.
VTech is a company that did Apple II clones, and later education computers. This mouse was designed to be used with such computers, but the circuity is compatible with early Macs. It's a fully...
Not sure if that's what you are asking, but, shortly after boot, the adapter will scan for a mouse in pairing mode around and connect to it. Subsequent boot does not require the mouse to be in pairing mode
I've got a few of theses. Some were indeed privacy filters
The other type was a filter supposed to reduce eye fatigue similar to what theses yellow glasses do today with LCDs. It worked somewhat well, at least on screens where low refresh rate was an issue (< 75 Hz for me)

Thanks everyone!
Documentation has been pushed to the GitHub, should be good enough so everyone than can build one. Let me know if something need to be improved

I remember having a few gigadesign back then, and they were factory overclocked, and never stable. The only way I could get it remotely stable was to reduce speed a little bit closer to the non overclocked G4 speed and this abomination:
Before going to this, as...
... AAAAAAAAAND it's working! 🎉
All of that thanks to @Builder68 who noticed that I had one ping wrong on two 47Ω resistors. So far we build a few boards of the last PCB revision (v2.1) and they are working fine after a few days of stress testing (minus some limitations, that the original has...
Thank you. It's a passive devices. Two examples that happened
- tweaking ROMs or stuff plugged into the ROM slots. The display will display "o" because the overlay was kept active. Reason: damaged ROM socket: ROM not read, so overlay kept asserted
- black screen (CRT) display, no visible vsync...
Hello everyone,
Posting this here, this is really niche. Built it while developing other stuff for early Macs
It's a small debug board that plug in place of the VIA (or on top of if you can find the correct clip). It includes a 7 segment display which is useful for displaying the following...
