6400 works as well, but both the floppy and the CD-ROM aren’t working. The CD drive opens the tray but doesn’t do anything when a disc is inserted. Luckily I have my external AppleCD 600e. Happy days!

I'd love to see that myself! I've got one of each of the LC family, (LC, LCII, LCIII+, and Performa 475) and the plastics are definitely brittle. New cases would be sweet!
