It looks like I'm not the only person with this idea.  I was hoping I could use my ADTPro cable to connect to a serial point on a linux print server.

I don’t have an ImageWriter. Any way to print? I’m wondering if I had a direct serial connection to a print server that could handle the printing...  maybe I’m dreaming. 

Thanks. I am thinking I’ll probably sell the later iMacs at some point. I never had one, and my interests are more in 90’s macs. I had a Quadra 660 back in the day, paired with the 14” Audiovision monitor. I regret selling those.   I’ll see if I can figure out what rev the original iMac is when...

Glad to help.  I couldn't get those images from the repository to work.  I ended up finding 6.0.8L elsewhere on the internet.  I actually prefer System 7.0.1 on my Classic II.  It boots very fast.  I couldn't get AppleShare on 6.0.8L to work with my OrangePi linux server running Netatalk for...

Are you using 6.0.8L? The regular 6.0.8 won’t work.

Thanks for this, but I prefer the original apple joystick for more authentic game play.  Maybe I should just look into replacing the entire thing.
