I don't quite follow you.. are you saying that people swapped 88920 for 88916 and are wondering why their computers aren't working at 40 MHz or are you saying that they swapped 88920 for 88916, changed resistors to go to 33 MHZ, added 20 MHz oscillator to go to 40 MHZ and then backed back to 20...
