Obviously, lots of early pre-System 7 apps use controls within WINDs. The major reason why I suspect that DITLs aren't used for this is because they only implement a layout manager suitable for DLOGs where the dimensions of the window are fixed.

Thanks for the reply. There's two ATA connectors. The RHS one folds over and under the logic board, then up through the chassis to feed both the ZIP drive and CDROM (at least that must be the case, because the ZIP drive is ATA and so is the CD-ROM). The other ATA connector feeds the HD only...

Thanks! I ordered a Sil3112 based SATA PCI card, and the Sil3112 chipset is supposedly B&W compatible. Unfortunately I figure it doesn’t come with the right cables, so I’ll probably have to get some too. Failing that I’ll buy an IDE PCI card.
